Apple Butter Cheesecake is easy creamy cheesecake with graham cracker crust, layer of apple butter cheesecake and top with apple filling, a flavorful fall dessert! It would be an amazing addition to your holiday dessert table! Easy, creamy and rich!
For the crust:
  • 2 ½ cups graham crackers crumbs
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
For the cheesecake:
  • 16 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ cup apple butter
For the Apple filling:
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 apples, peeled, cored and diced
For garnish:
  • Caramel sauce, optional
To make crust:
  1. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar and melted butter, mix until well combined
  2. Press crumb mixture onto the bottom of prepared 9-inch springform pan by lightly greasing the edges of the pan with cooking spray, set in the freezer to firm while making cheesecake layer
To make cheesecake layer:
  1. In medium bowl, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy
  2. In separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form
  3. Add cream cheese mixture into beaten heavy cream add vanilla, cinnamon and mix on low speed just to combine
  4. Divide mixture into 2 equal portions in separate bowls
  5. Pour the half cheesecake mixture into prepared crust
  6. Top with dollops of apple butter. Using a knife or offset spatula, swirl the apple butter into the filling
  7. Spoon the remaining cheesecake mixture over the top of apple butter
To make Apple filling:
  1. In a medium saucepan combine sugar, butter, heavy cream, vanilla and apples and simmer over low heat, whisking constantly or until thickened and no longer watery about 6-8 minutes
  2. Gently spread over cheesecake filling
  3. Set in the fridge to firm
  4. Refrigerate for at least 3-4 hours or until set
  5. When the topping is set and cooled run a thin knife around the sides and remove the springform pan sides
  6. Cut and drizzle with caramel sauce if desired
