  • 3 cups apples, peeled, cored and diced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 5 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 10-12 egg roll wrappers
  • Water for brushing the egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Caramel topping, for decorate
  • Powdered sugar, for sprinkle
  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the apples, lemon juice and sugar
  2. Add the flour and cinnamon and mix well
  3. Take one egg roll wrapper, lay it out on a clean, dry cutting board and brush water around each edge
  4. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of apple filling toward one edge of the wrapper, leave a little border
  5. Fold in the sides and roll up the egg roll tightly
  6. Use a dab of water to secure the tip of the wrapper
  7. Make sure the seals are completely closed or the filling will fall out while frying
  1. Fill a medium sized sauce pan with about 1 inch of oil
  2. Heat to 350 degrees F
  3. One at the time, gently place each filled wrapper in the hot oil
  4. Fry each egg roll for about 4-5 minutes or until browned and crispy
  5. Remove from the hot oil and place on a paper towel lined plate
  6. Drizzle with caramel topping or sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve warm
