For the icing:
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2-3 teaspoons milk
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
To make crust:
  1. Unroll pie crust on a lightly floured surface
  2. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle evenly with cinnamon and sugar
  3. Roll up tightly and slice into ½-inch rounds, like mini cinnamon rolls

  1. Peel, core and slice apples into thin slices
  2. In a large bowl, gently stir apple slices with flour, brown sugar and cinnamon until evenly coated
  3. Spread apple mixture evenly over the crust
To make crumbs:
  1. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, brown sugar, salt and butter with pastry blender or fork until mixture is crumbly
  2. Sprinkle the crumble over the apples
  3. Bake pie until the top and crust are a golden brown and the filling is bubbling, about 35-40 minutes, if it starts to brown too early, cover top with foil to prevent it from getting too dark
  4. Remove from oven and cool completely

  2. Using a pastry bag or Ziploc bag, pipe the icing on top of the crumble
