Best Restaurants in Denver

Best Restaurants in Denver

The national food media started talking about Denver a few years ago as if it had just been born. Locals had one question for them: Why did it take so long? For every location on the map, five more need your attention and five more that are just around the corner.

Capitol Hill neighborhood Denver and Central Park have few of the best restaurants in Denver. There’s something for everyone in Denver’s diverse dining scene, including down-home spots to white-tablecloth restaurants serving everything from local fare to global fare. So don’t forget to bring a fork along with your hiking boots and skis as you go out the door.

●  Annette

It’s hard to believe that the Stanley Marketplace, a modern American restaurant nominated for three James Beard Awards since it opened in 2017, is located in a former aircraft plant in Aurora. She shows her intense attention to detail and her talent in wood-fired cooking. As a result, her desserts—from hand pies to ice cream sandwiches—underscore Annette’s domestic, handcrafted appeal in every one of her creations.

●   Bar of Misfit Snacks

Located in the iconic dive bar Middleman, Misfit Snack Bar has more elegance than it can fit into its tiny space. Just two samples of the ever-changing cuisine at this restaurant include:

  • Deep-fried chicken foie gras buns.
  • Cherry hoisin.
  • Green onion schnitzel.
  • Cream cheese pudding.
  • Artichoke palms heart dish.
  • A buffet of spring balsamic glaze.

Orders might take a while to fill when just a few people work in a busy restaurant. What is the point of a neighborhood bar if not to meet your neighbors?

●   ChoLon

As soon as you set foot in ChoLon’s downtown dining room, you instantly gain a few inches in height and a few pounds in weight. Thanks to the high ceilings, enormous windows, gigantic concrete pillars, marble flooring, and elegant banquettes, a sense of refinement and affluence permeates the space. Lon Symensma’s vibrant cuisine, influenced by Southeast Asian Street food and market items, further adds to the festive atmosphere. To feel the yin and yang spirit in the menu, order his two biggest hits, French onion soup dumplings, and a “frothy” “egg cloud” for dipping, his two most important popular dishes. It is worth noting that there is a similar outpost in New York City’s Central Park.

●   DiFranco’s

DiFranco’s, a well-known casual Italian eatery, serves a wide range of delectable salads, sandwiches, antipasti, and pasta dishes straight from the kitchen. According to West word, the restaurant was named the city’s finest Italian restaurant in 2013. Traditional Italian meals are served at the restaurant, which uses locally sourced products in its cuisine. Most of their menu items are also manufactured on-site.

●   The Bindery

At any given time of day or night, this bustling café, bakery, and restaurant in a former bookbindery is a magnet for locals, tourists, and businesspeople of all stripes. Pastries and pantry goods abound at The Bindery’s market stand throughout the day. At night, the kitchen is where seasonal delicacies are exploited to their utmost. Geoduck? Is Santa Claus melon, or is he something else entirely? Is it a black sapote? Groats of buckwheat? The objective of the experience is to experience, not to avoid the unfamiliar. For example, Linda Hampton Fox, the chef and owner of the restaurant, loves to offer smoked rabbit, which has an earthy richness that contrasts nicely with the harsher tang of mustard and walnuts.

Finishing Up

The nation’s capital of Denver, often referred to as “The High Mile-High City,” has a plethora of things to see and do to suit every kind of trip or holiday. A vibrant night and musical scene for blues and jazz music aficionados can be found in the largest city in Colorado.

In response to the topic, “Where would you take a visit if you could only take them to one place?” Your answers were spectacular. Whether you’re in the mood for Japanese or Mexican, classy or informal, mom and pop or chain, we believe this is the perfect guide to dining your way through Denver, from Texas BBQ to farm-to-table fare. We hope you’ll like it!
