Christmas Cornflake Wreaths

December 21, 2022 By Yummiest Food Leave a Comment

Christmas Cornflake Wreaths are simple and easy no bake Christmas wreath dessert made with cornflakes and marshmallows. Fun and festive touch to a holiday cookie platter!

Christmas Cornflake Wreaths

These Christmas Cornflake Wreath  are the cutest addition to any holiday table, and they’re so easy to make.

Perfect as an afternoon activity for the kids, these Christmas wreath desserts are festive and delicious. The best part about these Christmas treats is that they’re no-bake Christmas dessert, so the kids can make them on their own. All you need are marshmallows, butter, green food coloring, vanilla extract, cornflakes, and red candies.

How  to Make Christmas Cornflake Wreaths?

  • Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • In a large pot melt butter
  • Add marshmallows and stir until melted.
  • Add the green food coloring and vanilla, stir until the marshmallow mixture is smooth.
  • Add the cornflakes and gently stir to coat the cereal evenly with the marshmallow mixture.
  • Working quickly, use a greased 1/4 cup measuring cup to dump the cornflake mixture in mounds on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Use your fingers (grease them well) to form the mounds into wreath shapes.
  • Immediately add red candies for decoration.

You can use any kind of small red to make the berries. Red mini M&Ms would work beautifully. Remember that to attach them, you’ll need to work quickly so the marshmallows will still be sticky enough to hang on to them

Can you Add Any Favor Extracts to the Cornflake Wreaths?

Absolutely! You could add a teaspoon of almond extract or vanilla extract after adding in the green food coloring.

How Long Will Cornflake Wreath Cookies Last?

If you store them in an airtight container, they should stay fresh for about 5 days.

These wreaths mean more than just cornflakes and bits of candy. They show the Christmas spirit and the infinite love that is carried on throughout the month of December.

These are such a Christmas classic that you will make with your family again and again! Enjoy!
