The best part is that all of the festivities include some kind of delicious food. That is one reason I love this recipe. It is also a versatile recipe because you can change the fruits depending on what is in season.
What Ingredients Do I Need For Easy Berry Cheesecake Salad?
- Cream Cheese: You can use regular cream cheese, just be sure that the cream cheese has been softened
- Heavy Cream: Instead of whipped topping, like Cool Whip, heavy cream is used instead. This is beaten with the cream cheese to get that smooth, creamy texture
- Vanilla Extract: Pure vanilla extract is used in the cream cheese mixture to add flavor
- Strawberries: I love to use fresh strawberries for this Cheesecake Salad. However, you could use raspberries instead and still have that patriotic, red, white, and blue presentation.
- Blueberries: The fresh blueberries, along with the strawberries, give it that red, white, and blue color
