3 Quick and Easy CBD Recipes

September 23, 2020 By Yummiest Food Leave a Comment

Despite the best efforts of the FDA, CBD-infused edibles continue to enjoy a staggering degree of popularity. The FDA recently said that companies were not allowed to add CBD to food or drink. This is a shame because there is research that suggests CBD could help reduce inflammation and pain.

In what is the grayest of areas, hundreds of companies continue to sell products like CBD gummies and chocolate. It is an unusual situation, but it doesn’t stop you from creating CBD recipes of your own. If you have a high-quality tincture, you can make the best CBD edibles at home. We show you how in this guide with three great CBD recipes.

Unlike the cannabis recipes you see online, these contain minimal THC.

1 – CBD-Infused Guacamole

This is one of those CBD recipes that can help a party get started. Apart from CBD oil, you need:

  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoon of lime juice
  • 6 ripe avocados
  • 2 teaspoons of minced jalapeno
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cups of diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup of chopped onions

Halve the avocados and remove the pits. Then, scoop out the flesh and place it in a bowl. Pour the salt and lime juice over the avocados and mash the mixture until it is creamy. Dice the garlic, or crush the gloves to make a paste. Add it to your mixture with the CBD oil. It is up to you to decide how much cannabidiol you want in your guacamole.

Add the onions, peppers, and tomatoes. Taste the mixture and see if it requires more lime or salt. Serve it with tortilla chips.

2 – CBD Oil-Infused Salad Dressing

This is another example of healthy CBD-infused food. You need the following ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
  • CBD oil – The amount is up to you

This is remarkably simple to make. All you need to do is put everything into a food processor and puree it until you have the dressing.

Regarding salads, we love this Arugula salad with goat cheese. The ingredients are as follows:

  • A bag of washed baby Arugula
  • 1.5 cups of strawberries
  • 0.25 cups of crumbled goat cheese
  • The CBD oil-infused salad dressing

You can experiment by adding CBD to your favorite salads. Have you ever tried the classic Caesar salad with CBD? Now is the time!

3 – CBD Peppermint Chocolate Cups

After providing you with two healthy CBD recipes, we decided to treat you with something for dessert. Peppermint tastes great at any time of the year, but its refreshing flavors are often associated with summer. You will likely find CBD-infused peppermint bars for sale online. However, you can create your own and add more CBD than you will find in a store-bought dessert if you choose.

This CBD-infused edible recipe is straightforward to make. Along with the exquisite taste of mint, these cups melt in your mouth. Once again, you can add as much CBD oil as you wish. Here are the rest of the ingredients:

  • 0.75 cups of white chocolate
  • 0.75 cups of dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons of raw cashew butter
  • 0.25 cups of cocoa butter
  • 0.25 cups of coconut butter
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • Up to one-eighth of a teaspoon of sea salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons of spinach powder
  • 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoons of peppermint extract

The first step involves melting the dark chocolate in the top of a double boiler. When it is smooth, spoon it into the bottom of peanut butter cup molds. You should be able to fill at least six. Put the mixture in the freezer until it is hard. This can take 10-15 minutes.

Next, combine the rest of the ingredients barring the CBD oil and spinach powder, and melt them until you get a smooth mixture. Add the CBD and matcha powder and whisk until everything is well blended. Pour the new white chocolate mix over the dark chocolate and put the molds in the freezer. You should be able to eat these peppermint cups within 20 minutes.

Final Thoughts on CBD-Infused Edibles & Recipes

Whether you want something healthy or a little naughty, you can add CBD and call it a recipe. All of the above are unlike cannabis recipes insofar as they contain little or no THC. If you try marijuana-infused edibles, make sure you live in a state where it is legal to do so.

If you’re not sure which CBD oil to choose, check out the Premium Jane range. It is a well-established and trusted brand that sells a wide variety of high-quality products. Its CBD oil offerings include citrus, natural, mint, and mint chocolate flavor. The natural option is ideal for the first two recipes, while the mint or mint chocolate oils are a good choice for the CBD peppermint chocolate cups.
