Breakfast Tacos
One way to start the day with a bang is breakfast tacos. Boil a potato and when cooked, add it to a saucepan with chorizo and onions to create your base. Cook until the onions have yellowed.
Move the mix to the side of the pan, then scramble eggs using butter and milk. Add salt and black pepper to season, then lift the mix into your tacos. Serve with a wholly delicious side of avocado and pickled onions.
Taco Tuesday Recipes Pineapple Salsa Taco
This is a quick taco recipe and a great summertime tostadas variation. Add red onion, bell pepper, garlic, paprika, and cilantro to a pan. When the onion browns, add canned beans, tomato, and cook for a further five minutes.
Separately, mix pineapple with chili, green onions, and cilantro. Spread the mix over lettuce and cherry tomatoes then toss in a salad bowl. Serve them both with some white floury tacos that are lightly toasted over an open flame.
White Fish Tacos
Our favorite of the taco Tuesday recipes takes a little more preparation but is well worth it. Firstly, you need a pre-made batter mixture or you need to prepare your own.
For that, use flour, cornflour, cayenne pepper and cornflour in a bowl. Add milk and eggs to create a thick batter and refrigerate for half an hour.
Use quality white fish such as a cod or sea bass. Cut it into bite-sized chunks, dip in the batter, then deep fry for around four minutes. When you remove from the oil, drain the fish on kitchen paper.
Stack the fish in the tacos with fresh chili and red cabbage. Serve with garlic mayonnaise.
Cilantro and Shrimp
Mix lime, cilantro, cumin, olive oil, and garlic in a bowl. use them to marinate your shrimps, which should be good quality, medium-sized produce. Sit them in the refrigerator for an hour.
Grill the shrimp, ideally over an open flame. Fill your tacos with shrimps, red onion, chopped tomato, and crisp lettuce. Serve with an ice-cold beer or glass of white wine.
Classic Ground Beef
Cook a mix of ground beef, garlic, and chopped onions in olive oil. Season it with cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and chopped fresh chili. After five minutes, stir in a tomato sauce or puree.
Serve in toasted tacos with lettuce, sliced tomato, shredded cheese, and jalapenos. If you like, you can add a little extra flavor with the addition of lime and cilantro though they are not essential.
