Cheesy Spinach Crescents – puff pastry, so delicious and soft! Cheesy Spinach Crescents, you need only 20 minutes for them, so you must give it a try!

Cheesy Spinach Crescents

These Cheesy Spinach Crescents, with cheese and spinach are perfect snack for you. Every recipe which I got from my friends, would require time and I need to stay long time in the kitchen. When I make pastry every time I need to knead the dough, let it to grow, knead it again. Today I don’t have enough time for that, I need something quick and easy.

Two days ago, my colleague brought these Cheesy Spinach Crescents for snack so I try and like them very much. I ask her how she has time to make these delicious croissants and she told me that she has a secret. Yes, her secret was puff pastry. I was shocked, how delicious. Every time I make some cakes or pastry I like it to be homemade, till that day.

Buying puff pastry, rolling pin, fill spread, ham and you are finish. She also let excess of puff pastry in the fridge, so she can make something sweet quickly when friends come over. For 20 minutes she has great appetizer. For this recipe, you need mood and few ingredients and croissants can be salt or sweet, as you wish.

Single Crescent on the Plate

I read somewhere that word croissant is French origin, and the mining is crescent. According to legend, Austro-Hungarians bakers bake croissants in honor of the defense of Vienna from the Turks. Idea was to croissants looks like crescent, which is Turkish symbol.

My version of these croissants is easy and very quick. It depends on you, but I need 7-8 minutes to shape, fill them and reheat the oven. Little secret is that you need to daub the croissants with vegetable oil, how they can stay soft. Try it!
