CBD Infused Recipes With added Winter Wellness

Hey there! In this blog, we’ll be discussing CBD recipes and some ideas on how to make CBD-infused dishes. CBD, or cannabidiol, is a non-psychoactive compound found in cannabis plants. Unlike its counterpart, THC, CBD does not produce any mind-altering effects. This makes it a popular choice for those looking for the potential benefits of cannabis without the high.

Now that we know a little bit about CBD let’s get into some recipes! While you can find CBD oil in most health food stores these days, it can be a bit pricey. If you’re looking to save some money, why not make your own CBD-infused dishes at home?

1. CBD Apple Cider Vinegar

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar
  • 1 gram 10% Strength CBD Oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients into a jar and mix well.
  2. Store in a cool, dark place for 1-2 weeks, shaking occasionally.
  3. After 1-2 weeks, strain the mixture through a cheesecloth or coffee filter.
  4. Enjoy your CBD apple cider vinegar! You can take one tablespoon per day as needed.

3. CBD Pesto Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 gram of 10% CBD oil
  • 1/2 pound pasta

Instructions:

  1. Add the basil, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic, and salt into a food processor or blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Mix in the CBD oil and blend again. Set aside.
  3. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and return to pot.
  4. Stir in the pesto sauce and enjoy! This dish can be served hot or cold.

4. CBD Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 gram of CBD oil 10%

Instructions:

  1. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, butter, and CBD oil. Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until just combined.
  3. Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and coat with butter or cooking spray. Scoop 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form and the edges are cooked through, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  4. Serve with your favorite toppings, and enjoy!

5. CBD Smoothies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup almond milk or other milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 gram of CBD oil

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy as is, or pour into a glass and enjoy!
  2. You can drink this smoothie 1-2 times per day as needed.

6. Chocolate CBD Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 gram of CBD oil
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to around three hundred and fifty degrees F and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. in a bowl, mix the melted sugar, butter and vanilla extract. Add in the eggs and mix until well combined.
  3. Stir in the flour, cocoa powder until no clumps remain. Mix in the CBD oil.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake for thirty minutes.

7. CBD Gummies

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup fruit juice or other flavored liquid
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 gram of CBD oil

Instructions:

  1. Grease an 8×8 inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the gelatin and cold water and set aside to let it bloom.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, stir the fruit juice, honey, and CBD oil until just warm. Add in the gelatin mixture and mix until completely dissolved.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and refrigerate for 1-2 hours or until set. Cut into squares and enjoy!

As you can see, there are many recipes that you can make with CBD oil form cakes to cocktails. You can add it to pasta dishes, smoothies, brownies, and even trail mix!
