Breast From Your Last Night’s Dinner

food

Being able to put food on the table is such a huge blessing because not everyone has enough food for the entire family. That is why in this article, there are lots of recipes that we can share with everyone, especially when we have leftover food from the last night. Surely you’ll love these recipes, and right after you finish reading this, you’ll probably grab your apron and start to do the cooking for your leftovers. If you have plenty of leftover chicken breast, this list of recipes is for you.

Did You Know?

Storing the leftovers is very important when reheating your leftover chicken breasts. In keeping the leftover chicken breast, we should put it in an airtight and clean container, and right after that, put it into the refrigerator. By putting the leftover chicken breast into the freezer, you can consume it within three to four days, to be exact. Although, before doing all that storing thing, the moment the chicken is cooked, let it sit out at room temperature for maybe less than two hours before doing that storing.

Pick A Pick

Even if you’re serving leftover chicken breast from the night before, don’t give them a hint until they’re about to eat what you’ve prepared. Rest assured that this recipe for leftover chicken breasts will not be noticeable, and they will love it.

1.  Hurry Curry Chicken Breast

One of the basic steps in this recipe is to sauté the onion and curry paste until fragrant. Cooking them in hot oil, like other spices, allows the flavors to combine. It eliminates the commonly perceived dusty taste and extracts some of their natural oils. Depending on the flavor you are craving, you can choose yellow, red, or green curry paste. All are delicious when you add coconut milk because it helps to soften any heat. Have you tried yellow curry, which is the most popular in Indian restaurants because it contains turmeric as the main ingredient? It’s perfect when the whole family shares this curry because it brings a fantastic flavor.

Procedures

  • Toss the chicken thighs with the salt in a big bowl and put them aside. Then, heat the oil in a big pot or casserole until it shimmers, over medium heat.
  • Add the onions and simmer them until they are tender. Just wait three to five minutes. Then cook the curry powder for about thirty seconds, and stir to combine until the aroma rises.
  • You can then add fish sauce, coconut milk, and apple juice. Then, on a high heat setting, boil it. Don’t forget to include the chicken and broccoli.
  • After reducing the heat, let it boil for at least five minutes. Add the bell pepper and continue cooking for an additional one to two minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  • Just remember that you must cook it completely but still with some pop. Just make sure that the entire chicken is well cooked. When removing the pan from the heat, be sure to add the lime juice. Add the cilantro and basil after that.

Ingredients

Leftover chicken

½ teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1 yellow onion

2 tablespoon Thai yellow curry powder or paste

2 cans of coconut milk

2 tablespoons fish sauce

2 tablespoons apple juice

4 cups broccoli flower

1 red bell pepper

1 medium lime

½ cup basil leaves

¼ cup cilantro leaves

2.  Chicken Casserole Dip

Procedures

  • Preheat the oven to three hundred seventy-five degrees Fahrenheit and put a rack in the center. Add one tablespoon of the oil to a ten-inch cast-iron casserole and set aside. Set aside fourteen cups of white beans.
  • Prepare and combine the remaining white beans, two tablespoons of olive oil, cumin, sour cream, paprika, garlic, and salt in a food processor fitted with the blade attachment.
  • Mix it well until it is smooth. Then you can now Combine the chicken, chiles or jalapenos, corn, scallions, half a cup of cheddar cheese, and bell pepper in a mixing bowl. To blend, beat once or twice. Fill the casserole with an even layer of the mixture.
  • Add pepper jack cheese and the remaining half cup of cheddar cheese, and be sure to reserve beans equally.
  • Then, you can now bake it and must be watchful if the cheese turns bubbly and brown, especially on the edges. Before serving it, let it cool for at least five minutes, and then serve it with tortilla chips.

Ingredients

2 cups of leftover chicken breast shredded

2 cloves garlic

¼ cup sour cream

1 can of white beans

3 tablespoon olive oil

½ teaspoon ground cumin

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup corn kernel frozen

1 cup shredded cheese

½ medium red bell pepper

2 medium scallions

¼ cup can green jalapenos or chiles

½ cup quick melt cheese

Tortilla chips
